Art Alive: Studio Take Over at the Sainsbury Centre
Working with Young Artists
As part of the 'Art Alive: Summer Studio Take Over' project at the Sainsbury Centre, I worked with a group of young artists aged between 12 - 16, to respond to the question ‘What Does Your Art Have to Say to the World?’.
Over the course of the project we explored the Sainsbury Centre's exhibitions and considered our reactions to these environments and the artworks on display. In the Sainsbury Centre Studio, the group experimented with a variety of creative techniques which led to them successfully developing their own responses, sharing their interests and insights, and considering their personal relationships to the art.
The project resulted in an exhibition of the work of the young artists, which was on display in the Learning Cases at the Sainsbury Centre.
